Strongest Nicotine Pouches in Vietnam: What ICEBERG's 70mg Means

ICEBERG cans say 70mg. That number is not the dose in the pouch. It is a concentration — milligrams of nicotine per gram of pouch material — and the pouch does not weigh a gram. The strongest per-pouch figure any maker publishes in our catalogue is 25mg, on a single product. If you came here looking for the biggest number you can buy, the useful answer is that the biggest number printed is measuring something else.

This matters more than a labelling quibble. Someone who reads 70mg as a dose and compares it to the 6mg ZYN they already use will conclude they are about to take eleven times their usual amount. They are not, and acting on that belief in either direction — overcorrecting or dismissing the product as absurd — starts from a misread.

Two different measurements, printed the same way

A nicotine pouch can be described two ways, and both get written as "mg" on a can.

• Milligrams per pouch. How much nicotine is in the one you put in your mouth. This is what ZYN, VELO, XQS and most of the market print. A ZYN Cool Mint 6mg contains 6mg.
• Milligrams per gram. How concentrated the material is, independent of how much of it there is. A figure like 70mg/g describes the mix, not the serving.

Nothing on the outside of the can tells you which convention is in use. The unit is the same, the position on the label is the same, and the second number is always the larger one. That is why the strongest-sounding brands are frequently the ones publishing a concentration.

Which is which, in our catalogue

Choosing by strength without a number

Three things that work better than chasing the largest figure on a can.

• Move one band at a time. If 6mg is comfortable, the next stop is 9–12mg, not 20mg. Our strong band is the largest in the catalogue precisely because it is where most people settle.
• Read the band, not the headline. Every product page here states the per-pouch dose where the maker publishes one, and says plainly that none is published where they do not. Nothing is estimated.
• Treat an unlabelled concentration as an unknown. Not as a zero, and not as a maximum. If you are trying a per-gram-labelled brand for the first time, treat it as at least as strong as your current can and give it a shorter session.
